Morgan Hill Pop Warner will be holding open nominations for the 2010 Board of Directors, nomination deadline is on Monday October 19th. 2009.

The Election will be held during our last home games on Oct. 25th 2009. Votes may be cast during these Week 8 games. Click here for schedule
One vote per adult per family.
If you cannot attend these games and would like to vote, please contact RICK DUNHAM directly for an alternative voting arrangement.
The results of this election will be posted on our website the week following the election.
All positions are open except Vice President and Secretary, which are currently in the second year of a two year term.
This is an open nomination, if you or someone you know would like to run for a position on The Morgan Hill Pop Warner Board and you have any questions concerning these nominations, please contact one of the people listed below.
Individuals holding elected positions are required to participate in all fundraisers, file monthly reports, attend monthly meetings, and are able to perform their respective board position effectively.

The following is a list of open positions along with the "general" duties these positions entail:
Note: In 2010, the Vice President and the Secretary will be serving the second year of their term.
PRESIDENT
Must have served one year as board member
Two-Year Term (2010-2011)
Shall be the principal executive officer of the association.
Shall supervise and control all of the business and affairs of the association.
Shall preside at all meetings of the board of directors.
TREASURER
Must have served one year as board member
Two-Year Term (2010-2011)
Shall collect all monies due the association.
He/She shall keep books and shall have general charge of the books and accounts of the association.
Shall receive and deposit all association monies.
BOYS’ ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
One Year Term
Acts as liaison between parents, football coaches, and board.
Responsible for securing all fields and facilities and assigning practice areas.
Work with the Equipment Director on securing and certifying equipment.
Conduct Coaches Meetings as required.
Responsible for interfacing with referees and football coaches for each game.
GIRLS’ ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
One Year Term
Acts as liaison between parents, cheer/dance coaches, and board.
Responsible for soliciting Head Coaches.
Conduct Coaches Meetings as required.
Takes input on rule changes
Assists with annual sign-ups
Participates in Budget Committee
Participates, organizes, and oversees Cheer/Dance Competitions
FUNDRAISER DIRECTOR
One Year Term
Responsible for all fundraising activity within league
Participates in annual budget
Responsible for actively soliciting Corporate Sponsors
Provides monthly report to Board of Directors
EQUIPMENT DIRECTOR
One Year Term
Responsible for maintaining annual inventory of league owned equipment
Responsible for maintenance of equipment
Participates in Budget Committee & provides the estimated expense for football equipment.
VOLUNTEER DIRECTOR
One Year Term
Establishes schedule for volunteer workers.
Responsible for working closely with Fundraiser Director
SNACK SHACK DIRECTOR
One Year Term
Establishes schedule for volunteer workers with Head Coaches
